Who We Are
Tribeca School of Barbers and Beauty is an experienced team of teachers, led by our Dean and Founder, Sylvia Aronova. Our team is truly passionate about improving and enhancing natural feminine and masculine beauty through cutting-edge modern techniques and practices in hairdressing, cosmetology, and aesthetics.
Every day, through a carefully designed and organized educational process, constantly improving theoretical and practical classes, we strive to pass on our experience to our students.
Our Dean & Chief Learning Officer
The educational process at our school is led by the Director of Education and Dean, an honored specialist in the field of beauty education, hairdressing and management in the city of New York, Sylvia Aronova.
With 30 years of experience, Sylvia has risen through the beauty industry from a successful budding hair stylist to a highly skilled manager of multi-profile beauty salons and cosmetology clinics on the East Coast of the United States and one of the best specialists in organizing the educational process and training new specialists.
Along with building educational processes, working with the teaching staff, and performing supervisory functions, Sylvia is always open to communication with our applicants, students, and graduates. Open and responsive, Sylvia is a true leader of our school.
20 Years of Our School History
Over the past twenty years, we have trained 1,000 barbers, cosmetologists, and beauty professionals. Many of our graduates have opened their own barbershops and beauty salons in the Tri-State area, building successful businesses and providing for their families.

Our Barber Programs
Learn barbering and hairdressing from A to Z with New York City’s best barber programs, from zero experience to barber license acquisition, career support and even opening your barbershop. We support our students all the way! All classes are held in small focus groups in the fully equipped salon environment at convenient times. Morning, evening, and weekend programs are available on your choice.

Cosmetology Program
8 Months / 1000 Hours
In-depth hands-on cosmetology course consisting of 1000-hour comprehensive training in a salon setting to learn the skills of hairstyling, makeup, nails, and everything else so popular in the world of cosmetology and beauty. The successful graduates will be prepared and ready for the New York State Board Examination and obtain their cosmetology license.
